The Center
COMMUNITY INVESTORS WORLD WIDE LEARNING CENTER'S MISSION IS:
TO PROVIDE LEARNING TOOLS WHICH WILL ENHANCE THE LIVES OF THE YOUNG AND YOUNG AT HEART.
In October of 2007, Community Investors largest project transpired with the opening of The World Wide Learning Center. Which is an after hour computer and internet accessible monitored location.
Providing after school programs,tutoring and mentoring programs,computer internet access,guidance courses on peer pressure, drugs,domestic violence,educational classes consisting of but not limited to: writing resumes, filling applications (computerized and manual), appropriate dress and communication before, during,and after the interview and hiring process. Leadership training,general counseling,basic education (for adults),and general life skills training for all.
Since its opening we have seen an increase in better jobs among adults. and a 93% success rate in the grade point average of the children that attend.
